Tuesdays on the Trail: Treloar to Peers
10/13/2026 | Katy Trail State Park | Treloar, MO.
Senior citizens are invited to experience Katy Trail State Park from the comfort of an open-air tram during Missouri State Parks' annual Tuesdays on the Trail tram tour series. The 2026 series features seven different routes, allowing visitors to see stretches of trail they may not be able to experience otherwise. Each date in the series includes a morning tour at 10 a.m. and afternoon tour at 1:30 p.m. Each tour lasts about two hours and hosts approximately 50 people.
The Oct. 13 tours will take visitors from Treloar to Peers and back, traversing a section known as the "Country Store Corridor." An interpretive guide with a PA system will give a presentation on the history of the Katy Trail and will provide commentary on natural and cultural features along the way. In addition, participants will get to visit the Peers Store and the Ted and Pat Jones Welcome Center at the Treloar Mercantile. Snacks and bottled water will be offered to each participant.
These tours are free, but space is limited and registration is required. Please see the registration section below for more information.
