Park Beautification Day
10/10/2026 | Elephant Rocks State Park | Belleview, MO.
Elephant Rocks State Park is one of Missouri's most significant natural wonders. Over the past few years, it has also been one of the most popular parks in Missouri. In 2025, Elephant Rocks welcomed over 227,000 visitors, good for seventh place among Missouri state parks and historic sites without a campground, and first among day-use parks its size.
Visitors love this park and often ask if there are opportunities to maintain its natural beauty. In response, we will be hosting a cleanup day at the park on Saturday, Oct 10. This family-friendly event will feature reenactors demonstrating 1890-1920s mining skills, kids activities, and prizes for volunteers who help pick up refuse in the park. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. For more information, call the park at 573-546-3454 and speak with Bryan or Brick. Elephant Rocks State Park is located at 7406 Highway 21 near Belleview in Iron County.
