Veterans Free Fishing Day

at Roaring River State Park

Roaring River State Park invites veterans and active-duty military personnel to fish for free on Saturday, Sept. 19. There will be no permit or daily tag fee for eligible anglers during this event. All other fishing regulations still apply. September fishing hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Free daily trout tags will be available at the park store on Sept. 18 and 19.
