Open House: CDP Meeting and Annual Public Meeting

The public is invited to attend an open house-style meeting at Lake of the Ozarks State Park on Monday, Sept 28. This hybrid event will serve as the park's annual public meeting and its conceptual development planning meeting. The event will begin at 5 p.m. It will take place at the park's Public Beach #1 Shelter.
Annual Public Meeting
Annual public meetings are held are for all state parks and historic sites and help create two-way communication with the public. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the park. The public is encouraged to share comments about the park and its operations.
Conceptual Development Planning Meeting
The open house is also being held as part of Lake of the Ozarks State Park's conceptual development planning process. As the long-range plan for the park is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions, and provide input regarding park future use and development. A 30-day comment period will begin on Sept. 28, with a survey available online.
