Jefferson Landing State Historic Site 50th Anniversary Celebration

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Jefferson Landing State Historic Site. Join us on Saturday, Oct. 3, to celebrate Missouri State Parks' half century of dedication to the history of the landing and the entire capital city!

This free event will begin with a brief welcome ceremony at 11 a.m., followed by games and demonstrations. The demonstrations will cover blacksmithing, rug hooking and historical cooking methods. The celebration will end with a concert from 2-3 p.m. All of these activities will take place outside the historic site's Lohman Building, located at 100 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City. 

Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to register. Please bring a lawn chair for the concert.
