First Day Hike
1/1/2026 | Rock Island Trail State Park | Owensville, MO.
Celebrate the new year with a guided hike on a section of the Rock Island Trail in Owensville. This easy 2-mile hike will start at the trailhead near the city hall building at 11 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.
The hike will traverse flat, packed gravel surfaces, making it suitable for all ages and abilities. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Participants are encouraged to bring water and dress for the weather.
Registration is required and can be completed using the link provided here. If the hike is canceled, an announcement will be emailed to registrants.
