Christmas Candlelight Stroll

Roaring River's second annual Christmas Candlelight and Cookie Stroll will take place on Saturday, Dec. 20. From 5:30-8:30 p.m., hundreds of luminaries will light the banks of the river, evoking a sense of peace and wonder.
There will also be a variety of activities and displays throughout the park. These will include photo opportunities with Santa in the CCC Lodge, Christmas specials at the park store, a Christmas tree display at the Emory Melton Inn, a Civilian Conservation Corps living history display at the schoolhouse, and readings of "The Night Before Christmas" at the amphitheater. The readings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. All other activities will go from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Visitors should dress for the weather and bring an additional light source, such as a flashlight or lantern. In the event of inclement weather, some activities may be relocated.
