Platform Tent Sites

Crowder State Park now offers two platform tent sites! Campsites 9 and 12 feature a 12-by-16-foot wooden deck with a 10-by-10-foot four-season canvas tent. Each platform tent accommodates up to six people. There are no furnishings or amenities provided in the tents.

During the off-season (Nov. 1 through April 14), the tents are removed from the platform tent sites. The sites may still be reserved, but users will need to bring their own tent. A picnic table, fire ring and lantern post are included at both sites. This sites do not have electric, water or sewer hook-ups, but water hydrants are scattered throughout the campground. During the off-season, water is available from a frost-free hydrant at Campsite 10.

No pets are allowed in the tents. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the tents. Cleanup and trash removal are the responsibility of the guest and should be completed prior to checkout. All standard campsite capacities and rules apply.

Guests must check in with the campground host or park staff prior to 9 p.m.
